[... look at the clock, Law, look at the clock.]
Good morning... very early morning to you too, Rider-ya. Uh... does that help?
1/2
[He looks at the clock then punches his forehead.]
Ah! I forgot the time since I don't tend to sleep!
[He shakes his head at himself.]
no subject
If this is uncommon then what are the ones that interest you! Uncommon or common!
[Rider. You just acknowledged it's ass o'clock.]
1/2
[Just... pointing that out.]
no subject
[Law is blinking hard. Not just because he's sleepy. But because he's tired he'll just go ahead and answer with a yawn.]
Um, with the right people... foodplay... waxplay and other sorts of temperature play? I enjoy certain types of toys like vibes and fleshlights. I don't like being in bondage... but I enjoy other people in bondage and well... tying people up for shibari? Electrostim?
Threesomes? Rimming?
With Strawhat-ya, public sex and facefucking?
...
...
...
... why do you want to know?
no subject
So we can bond over things we can enjoy. By the way, what is rimming?
[That's a phrase he hasn't heard before.
Oh were you wanting to sleep? You need to be clearer about that, buddy.]
no subject
Can an explanation wait until I have some sleep? I am very tired. I've been working all day.
...
Why don't you ask Strawhat-ya? He knows. He's an... expert at all things oral, you could say.
[Also... let him go oveeeer here and lock his door. SLEEP. He will have it.
(Law, you may be making an unwise decision throwing poor Rider at Luffy. Or is it the other way around? Who knows.)]
no subject
Is he? Good! I will go discuss things with him! I've been meaning to ask him if he's seen some kings around here anyway! Perona said that I would like the king once I found him!
[Totally gotta call Luffy now.]
no subject
... there will be time for remorse after sleep. Don't mind Law just totally starting to take off his clothes in front of the camera. Amoi does strange things to a man.
Also don't mind how one of the legs is dressed to cover a wound. When did this guy get hurt, anyway?]
Good, good. I'm sure he'll help.
[Yaaaaawn. Well... Luffy says he'll be Pirate King but he's not a king yet. Future king.]
I'll speak to you when I wake up.
no subject
Hey, Law.
So, you've been asleep for a bit because Rider was talking to Luffy.
But now Rider's here.
He's in your bedroom.
So much for locked doors.]
Hm. He's asleep. Maybe I should wait.
no subject
Law's room is fairly spacious for a place that's not in the Tower. Overall, the shared apartment between Luffy, Law, and Vivi (a steal at nine silverbytes!) is about half the size of an Eos apartment that takes up an entire floor, since the pirates have eschewed some of the features that come standard with such a Tower apartment.
That said, it's still pretty big.
There's a digital skin on the walls that mimics the sky at night. Right now it's set to Tanagura's own without any light pollution - the moons, Eos and Burn, staring down and the Anyelir galaxy a bright band across the sky. There are brighter points that aren't stars - planets in the Glans system. It's a sight Rider should recognize if the trip to and from Kue came with a window view, as it did for Law.
The contents of the room are this: a large bed (with one supposedly sleeping pirate occupant), one small nightstand with a drawer for lube and toys, a desk with a chair tucked into a corner, a door to a closet right next to that, and tucked away at the other end is two stuffed chairs and a small coffee table next to a shelf with a couple of items neatly arranged on them and three large backpacks resting against the shelf, mostly packed.
(That's something Rider will find in every bedroom. Backpacks stuffed.)
There is one more item in the room and that is a tree with bared branches. There is a larger one in the main living room, much the same, and the reason for this is rustling on her perch, black beady eyes opening.
Prruk-prruk-prruk?
Xin, Law's pet raven, has seen you, Rider. Whiiiiiich might distract you from the fact that Law's breathing has changed, a good sign he's alert even if he's not awake. Or that the way he's positioned has his back to the wall, closed eyes pointed to the exits. Or that Kikoku, Law's nodachi is in easy grabbing distance. He's probably a millisecond away from cracking an eye open, and already primed to deal with a potential hostile presence.
But perhaps she has not. In that case, the above says a hell of a lot about the sleeping man in the bed.]
no subject
Hello, my friend. Are you his companion?
[Rider comes closer but remains a respectable distance away. (Suuuuure. The bird gets personal space but here is he just invading the bedroom of a sleeping man like that's the thing to do.)]
I wonder what you enjoy eating. I should ask our friend so I can provide you with treats. Then I can look for them when I am gathering things for Gyro's horse.
[Rider's just gonna see if he can hang out with your bird, Law. Don't mind him.]
no subject
Law frowns as he sits up, sword in now in his lap as it quickly amends to, why is there Rider in my room? This is disturbing, and not only for Rider invading his room (which is very disturbing, okay?). Why did he think that? They say thoughts like that, when the mind is muzzy and uninhibited and can't catch up are results of deeply conditioned behaviors.
But he... hasn't...
Has he?]
She doesn't eat. She's digital... unlike Andy-ya's cat and this... Gyro's? ... horse.
[Law's voice is soft and uncertain. Why are you here? How are you here? He's tense, because he wasn't expecting this and isn't sure how to react.
... that may change in a few seconds once he finishes assessing the threat level.]
Her name is Xin and she's my pet, yes.
[Xin, for her part, kraas and hops down onto another branch to get a better look at the bedroom invader. Fluffs her feathers as she noisily croaks and cants her head back and forth in that uniquely avian way.]
no subject
[He leans closer to the bird now, utterly fascinated. A beautiful creature and she's entirely digital. Does this mean that she can't be touched? The skins can be touched here, he's noticed that. But does that apply to animals? Unless Law's world has other technology?
He looks back at the sleep man.]
She's beautiful!
[Turning to face him fully, he spreads his arms to the sides.]
Hello! I came to visit!
[Rider. People need sleep.]
no subject
... which you might be in trouble if you have something shiny on you, Rider. Because shiny.]
I was sleeping and need to do so? This isn't the best time because of that.
[Bluntly and somewhat annoyed. Because SLEEP. Lecture mode - GO.]
... shouldn't you get an invite before just popping into someone's room anyway? They could accidentally attack you before realizing who you were. You were lucky I didn't. I'm dangerous to surprise.
[... which then adds an element of worry as Law begins looking for a Pet Ring.
F M L. If he's not...]
You do also know that the entirety of Tanagura is monitored... right? Everyone here has to live under constant watch. Getting caught breaking into an Elite's residence would be... very bad.
no subject
Stroking said beard, he considers things.]
Well if you'd attacked me then I would have gone into spiritual form and you likely would have attacked the wall instead. Or I suppose I would have caught the blade.
[You know. No big deal. That's perfectly normal.]
People do mention I should use doors more.
[Look how well he's been taking that advice too.]
If you want to sleep more then I could hold you while you do.
no subject
[Dryly.
... that's confident though. Might be underestimating Law, but the pirate can sense he can back it up to some degree.
... is he asking for sex? But he wants to SLEEP.]
I want to sleep more. There are cameras here so you cannot hold me, though. You can wait in the other room for me to wake up so we can go somewhere else afterward, though.
no subject
[He looks around but doesn't see any. Looks like a perfectly normal room to him.]
Are there cameras in the tower too? If so they've had quite the show several times over.
[Yep. Just been fucking the Elites. No big deal.]
no subject
Yes.
There are cameras and audio recording devices here and in the Tower. They are hidden in the walls. They make sure you can't see them and forget about them.
It's how they keep control over here. They're always watching and recording. Even if you don't get in trouble right away, there's always a worry that it can be used against you in the future.
no subject
[Look. Now he knows about the cameras and he's still talking about this stuff!
But he's been talking about it since day one honestly. They probably don't think he's serious.]
no subject
[Law makes to curl up again, sheathed sword held against him like a teddy bear.]
Look. I need to get back to sleep.
Alone.
See you later?
no subject
[And he vanishes from sight. What Law doesn't realize is that Rider's still there. He just can't be seen or heard.
He's just going to explore the room now. Don't mind him.]
no subject
Then he shoots straight up and yells into the air. Probably empty air.]
I meant leave the room!
no subject
Huh. Most can't sense me. He's special.
[Not that that can be heard either. The only one who can hear him is his Master.
He'll just go visit him now.
And just like that he's gone.]
no subject
... is he gone now? Law doesn't know, but he'll try to get some shut eye regardless. He's sure got a story to tell at the breakfast table.]
